Turkey is a dynamically expanding and promising market for Czech producers. Our company ZAT has been realizing there long-term activities dating back to the 1970s. To Turkey we supplied e.g. control systems for six units of power plant Soma, control systems for drives of 80 locomotives for Turkish state railway system and a lot of other technologies.
We still want to participate in new projects not only in the field of power engineering. Therefore at the end of May as one of the four companies from the Czech Republic we took part in the Mission of Czech power engineers to Turkey, where we step by step visited 6 Turkish power energy companies. Aim of the event was support and initiation of trade between Czech suppliers of energy units and Turkish partners.
„We presented company ZAT, its competences and products to our Turkish partners. Local EPC companies as higher suppliers of technological units responsible for construction of power plants not only in Turkey but abroad too were mainly interested in our competences in the field of power energy. What they found interesting were our control systems SandRA and platform SimONet enabling wireless data collection and administration including subsequent visualization,“ says Jan Homut that represented our company. In Turkey we aimed to publicize ZAT, to obtain new contacts, to increase new trades on foreign markets and to find out new fields in which ZAT could cooperate with Turkish companies.
Mission participants were received by Pavel Kafka, ambassador of the Czech Republic in Turkey who actively supports activities of Czech companies in Turkey. The mission was organized by Czech Trade foreign office Istanbul.
