We are in the middle of reconstruction of control systems of nuclear power plant Paks in Hungary

Till the end of 2019 we are going to completely replace the control system within the nuclear island at NPP Paks in Hungary. „At the moment we are in the middle, during previous two years we have performed replacement of control systems on the first and second unit, that are successfully in operation,“ says Karel Stočes, Director of the ZAT Nuclear Power Engineering Division.

The units are controlled with SandRA Z101 and Z102 process stations that include special safety functions classified in the highest safety categories.

Handover of the first unit in the sequence (B2) was on the New Year´s Eve 2016, next unit (B1) was put in operation by our engineers in September last year. This year in autumn we are handing unit B3 over for operation, completion of the order for realization of unit B4 has been set for 2019.
