We have signed a supply contract of control systems for nuclear power plant Loviisa in Finland

Our technology is going to control next nuclear reactor in Europe. We are going to supply a part of  the RRCS control system (reactor rod control system) for nuclear power plant Loviisa. Namely it is a power part with low-frequency converters for position control of reactor control rods of nuclear unit with technology VVER 440. Management of both companies signed on 6 April 2018 the supply contract at the head office of the Fortum Oy company partner in Helsinki. The contract amounted up to 4.6 mil. EUR will be realized in the following three years and handover for commissioning is in June 2021.

Our RRCS system is being currently successfully operated at ten nuclear reactors with technology VVER 440 and eleven nuclear reactors with technology VVER 1000 in five countries. „In addition to this we have together with present supply for nuclear powwr plant Loviisa six further RRCS systems for technology VVER 440 under contract, in process and the realization will have been completed in the course of the next three years. After their completion we will have increased our scope of activity by further two countries that operate nuclear power plants with our control systems, “ says Karel Stočes, Director of Nuclear Power Engineering Division.
