Automation for Conventional Power Generation

In the area of conventional power generation and heating plant industry we form standard and new solutions for control and information systems for optimising the operation of controlled technologies including the implementation of safety automation elements.

We have been cooperating with both domestic and foreign technology suppliers so that demanding requirements of the contemporary state-of-the-art control systems are taken into account in our supplies.

Process automation:

  • We implement functions for control of units, auxiliary facilities and desulphurization
  • We control power units in the whole operation scale including start-up and shut-down, dynamic transition between stable operation modes and extraordinary failure conditions
  • Power units control is in accordance with requirements of the Transmission Grid Code
  • The control system provides ultimate power change depending on failures of corresponding technological equipment.
  • Control interventions are designed so that they enable maximum possible power changes without exceeding the temperature stress in the most critical part of the technological equipmenteme_velin

  • Automatic start and control of one-grade, two-grade or continuously controlled oil, gas or combined (oil-gas) burners with a fan and an ignition system

Protection systems

  • Boiler and turbine protections are designed so called Fail-Safe systems two-channel or threechannel in accordance with the ČSN EN 61508 (SIL3) standard. Turbine turning speed measuring is designed to protect three-channelled and for control as two-channelled.
  • Protection system is designed functionally and physically by means of an individual Fail-Safe systém (independently of operation control system function)

Sequence of Events Recorder - SOE

  • It records and stores technologically significant events with high-time resolution
  • It enables monitoring as much as 600 binary inputs in one rack of a system
  • It provides time resolution as short as 1 ms with external time synchronization possibility regarding the absolute timeeme_odsireni_03
  • Analysis of acquired data by own SW means
