Cuban Minister of Power Engineering praised ZAT projects in Cuba

In the first week in November there took place in Cuba the business mission led by Jiří Havlíček, Minister of Industry and Trade and Jaroslav Hanák, President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic. Our company belongs to important suppliers to Cuban power plants. Therefore we were pleased by the statement of Cuban Minister of Power Engineering at the meeting with Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, that expressed his satisfaction with the projects in Cuba realized by us and emphasized their contribution to local power engineering.

„We took part in a lot of important meetings including deputation at the Ministry of Power Engineering and Mining (MINEM) where representatives of both countries mentioned possibility of mutual cooperation. Cuban Minister of Power Engineering also spoke about the planned conception of energy and he also mentioned realization of planned reconstruction of power plant Felton I where ZAT will supply control system again,“ says Ivana Bergerová, ZAT Financial Director, that was a member of the business mission accompanying the government visit.

FIHAV international fair, where our company exhibits every year, was a part of the visit to Cuba too. At the fair representatives of our company also took part in bilateral meeting with Mr. Lage, General Director of Energoimport Group and other members of top management. „We discussed financing up of the already realized contracts and possibilities of financing future projects, e.g. excitation systems for Neuvitas or Felton I ot technical assistance for the Rente III power plant,“ adds František Kural, Director of Energetics Division who attends the FIHAV fair on every year basis.
