ZAT took part in the symposium "Myths, errors and truths in diabetology" (06/2009)

 Representatives of the company ZAT a.s. were invited by prof. Kvapil, the President of the Diabetologic Association of FN Motol (teaching hospital in Motol), to participate in the exhibition part of the two-day symposium "Myths, errors and truths in diabetology" dedicated to diabetologists, which was held in the Bezdez Hotel in Stare Splavy on 29.-30th May 2009. The symposium was organised by the Diabetologic Centre of Internal Clinic of 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and FN in Motol under the leadership of prof. Kvapil and Diabetologic Centre of Internal Clinic of FN in Plzen under leadership of prof. Z. Rusavy. Lectures concerned different spheres of diabetology and internal medicine with focus on news in treatment and diagnostics of diabetes symptoms and its complications. The MDM method and its results and possible application as the alternative to the existing procedures in diabetic polyneuropathy treatment were briefly mentioned in the lecture and consequential discussion between prof. Zadak and the symposium participants. At the ZAT a.s. stand people interested in MDM got from Ing. Naprstek and Ing. Kulik the information, which was supplemented with practical experience of the representatives of treatment provider DOL Bukovany. The MDM method attracts attention and at present we are monitoring the increasing patients´ and doctors´ interest in the treatment.
