In September, two important conferences were held in the Czech Republic in the fields which ZAT focuses on, namely nuclear energy and heating industry.
The Nuclear Days
The first mentioned event called Nuclear Days at the UWB in Pilsen took place in the fourth week of September, this year for the first time in a virtual form. The event was opened by Jan Zdebor, Vice‑Dean for cooperation with the practice of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The main topic discussed was the new nuclear power blocks for the Czech Republic, specifically the state of preparations in 2020. The introduction was devoted to the current state and further steps in the construction of a new nuclear power blocks in the Czech Republic. The afternoon was focused on new projects and technologies for NPPs, where potential suppliers of nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic - KHNP (South Korea), ROSATOM (Russia), EDF (France) and CGNPC (China) made contributions.
The subsequent section the I&C for nuclear power plants - their current state and development perspectives was moderated by our colleague Karel Stočes, Marketing and Sales Director in the Energetics Division. "In our presentation, we declared that we have the necessary competencies and we are ready to supply I&C both within construction and in the development of technologies," adds Karel Stočes.
The District Heating and Energy Days
One of the few large professional events that took place this year with the visitor’s participation at the Aldis Congress Center in Hradec Králové was the District Heating and Energy Days event. Like the Nuclear Days, the conference was postponed from spring to mid-September.
ZAT is a long-term and reliable supplier to the heating industry, so of course we presented our competencies in this field this year as well. At the end of the first day, František Kural, Marketing and Sales Manager of ZAT, gave a lecture on the topic of News in control systems of technologies reducing costs in the heating industry. He acquainted the conference participants with the news in the platforms of technical means, including the field of combustion. He introduced ZAT competencies through fulfilled orders. "Our lecture was directly related to the presentations of companies operating thermal power plants and technology suppliers. We were able to show that we are ready to supply our control systems to their technologies," states František Kural. The conference District Heating and Energy Days was opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček with a presentation on topic of the Concept of transformation of the heating industry. Then Tomáš Drápela, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Association for District Heating of the Czech Republic, talked about the strategy of heating industry.
