Members of our board, Ivo Tichý and Vladislava Česáková, attended three major events at the International Engineering Fair 2025, focusing on current issues in industry and energy.

On Tuesday, October 7, the Congress of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic took place, featuring a speech by President Petr Pavel. He emphasized the need for swift action by the new Czech government in investments, digitalization, defense, and energy, while also addressing high energy costs and complex approval processes that hinder new projects such as wind and solar power plants.

That same day, Ivo Tichý, CEO and Vice-Chairman of ZAT, took part in a discussion organized by the EGAP insurance company and Ekonom magazine. Participants included Tomáš Ehler, Director of the Nuclear Energy and New Technologies Section, David Havlíček, Chairman of EGAP, and top representatives of the Czech nuclear industry from Doosan Škoda Power, Škoda JS, and Sigma Group. The discussion focused on opportunities for Czech companies to participate in the completion of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant and on insurance options for these deliveries. Ivo Tichý highlighted ZAT’s readiness to supply the nuclear sector and pointed out both current and upcoming EGAP programs.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the first Forum of the Czech Energy Association took place. Discussions focused on the transformation of the Czech energy sector, including decarbonization of heating, supply security, and infrastructure modernization, providing valuable insights into the sector’s current challenges.
