At this year’s Summer Meet-up, we presented updates, focusing mainly on digitalization

Last week, the 8th annual Summer Meet-up took place at Tech Tower in Pilsen. For visitors from among our customers and partners, we prepared presentations of innovations covering products in energy, manufacturing, transportation, local distribution networks, healthcare, and our in-house software development.

The growing significance of the event was highlighted by the patronage provided this year by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and the Pilsen Region.

For the first time, the Summer Meet-up was held outside our company premises. And what better place to showcase innovative industrial applications than in one of the most advanced technology parks in the Czech Republic – Tech Tower in Pilsen. In the large ground-floor hall of this industrial-style building, we set up a showroom with seven themed stations, where visitors could learn not only detailed information about the showcased products, including practical demonstrations, but also explore and try out model installations.

The event opened with a welcome address by ZAT CEO Ivo Tichý, who spoke about the importance of the newly defined corporate strategy. “Last year, our company decided to focus even more on digital technologies, which we consider key to the future of Czech industry. Some of these technologies you can also explore at this year’s event,” said Ivo Tichý.

Following his speech, a brief address was delivered remotely by František Chaloupecký, Vice President of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic, joining from Poland. His personal message, addressed not only to ZAT but to the entire industry, symbolically concluded the opening segment, after which visitors were invited to individual tours of the prepared presentations.

A special highlight was the participation of technical students during the dress rehearsal the day before the event. The students asked our team a number of interesting questions, and we hope to welcome some of them to our company in the future.
