Another successful project of ZAT is the reconstruction of the electrodispatching centre for remote control technology of the Railway Administration in Plzeň, which controls the traction power supply system and the accompanying infrastructure for the Plzeň Regional Directorate.

The project, which we have now commissioned, includes a complete replacement of the hardware and software equipment of the electrical control room. The display wall is now composed of frameless back-projection panels in 4K resolution. As part of the contract, we remade 400 existing screens to the new resolution. The display wall is modular and allows dispatchers to lay out the display of controlled technologies as needed.

Additionally, structural modifications were made to the control room and complete replacement of the controllers' equipment. Also, a new workplace for the railway infrastructure dispatcher was created, which will be used for central collection, recording and analysis of failures occurring on technologies in the area of the Plzeň Regional Directorate.

With the completion of the project, the remote-control technology dispatching centre in Plzeň has become one of the most advanced dispatching centres of the Railway Administration in the Czech Republic.
