ZAT is among the leading Czech companies in the fields of IoT technologies, digitalisation, data processing, and cybersecurity. We invest millions of Czech crowns annually in the development of the areas we focus on.

For this reason, we were pleased to accept an invitation to present our technical innovations and experience with their implementation at the Technica Futura Conference, which this year focused on the Internet of Things. The fourth edition of the event took place in mid-April at the TechTower in Plzeň.

The conference welcomed more than one hundred participants from the Czech Republic and abroad. Experts from companies as well as research and government organisations addressed current topics.

Our colleague Ladislav Kopecký, Head of the Software Development expert group, gave a presentation titled “Data from Technology in Practice: From Signal to Decision.” He focused in particular on efficient data handling in industrial systems and their use to support informed decision-making. He also presented the use of the SandRA and SimONet platforms for data processing and evaluation, as well as work with data in critical infrastructure environments. Part of the presentation was devoted to the cybersecurity of software products and the company’s experience in implementing artificial intelligence methods in data processing.

For us, the conference topics are highly relevant. We develop complex software solutions within which we aim to predict potential risks. If they occur, we have tools to identify them, including processes for eliminating them in production applications. We also place strong emphasis on the cybersecurity of our products,” said Ladislav Kopecký regarding the conference.
