We are part of the Smart Accelerator programme of the Pilsen Region

ZAT has long been cooperating on research and development projects with universities and research centres in the Czech Republic.

"We greatly appreciate the activities of the Pilsen Region leading to the promotion of innovation in the regional economy and thus increasing the competitiveness of the region. We are one of the leading European companies in the field of automation for industry and power engineering, thanks to which we bring interesting innovations to the regions in which we are represented. Our participation in the Smart Accelerator project, which aims to support and develop the research, development and innovation environment in the Pilsen region, was therefore a logical step," says Ivo Tichý, Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors of ZAT.

To introduce our competences, we invited Filip Uhlík, Director of the Regional Development Agency of the Pilsen Region, and Milan Edl, Regional Manager for the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Pilsen Region, to the ZAT Research and Development Centre in Pilsen.

At the meeting, which took place at the end of May, the representatives of ZAT and the Agency agreed to start cooperation in the Smart Accelerator programme in the areas of Smart Manufacturing Systems, Smart Mobility, Biomedicine and Technology in Healthcare and Modern Energetics. Representatives of the agency also offered our company a partnership in the Territorial Employment Pact of the Pilsen Region.
