
Efficient technology management at the railway station Plzeň hlavní nádraží
ZAT provides complex supplies of control and diagnostics of transport infrastructure in rail, road and urban transport. Our control systems ensure the reliable and safe operation of half of the railway control stations in the Czech Republic.
Let's look back together at the significant implementations of last year. One of them was the complete reconstruction of the passenger building at the railway station Plzeň hlavní nádraží. On our side, the project included the extension of the existing system of remote diagnostics of technological systems of the railway transport path (DDTS) built within the framework of previous constructions during the track reconstruction.
The system was supplemented by monitoring of technological systems newly installed in the reconstructed station building. A remote diagnostics cabinet was installed in the communication room, which contains a new integration concentrator based on the SandRA Z210 PLC. It concentrates all the data of the monitored technologies, such as the camera system, evacuation radio, passenger information system, electrical fire and security alarms, lighting, heating and ventilation measurement and control system for the entire building, energy readings, monitoring of the power supply of individual technologies, lifts, escalators, etc.
The data is further transferred to the integration server of the regional headquarters and from there it is displayed on individual dispatching and operational client stations within the Regional Headquarters in Pilsen and at the Central Dispatching Workplace in Prague.
Thanks to this, the system provides the operator with a comprehensive overview and efficient management of technology, which contributes to better operation and greater passenger safety.
